Why do we CARE about Romney’s Money?

Don’t let Mitt buy his way into the white house. Any contribution helps!

…

“128 million” dollars is the combined wealth of the last 8 presidents? Are they even trying anymore?

Nope, they aren’t even trying to be intellectually honest any more.  Google is your friend Liberals.
Translating the figures into today’s dollar value, we get: 37th Richard Milhous Nixon (1969-1974): $15 Million Net Worth
38th Gerald Rudolph Ford Jr. (1974-1977): $7 Million Net Worth 39th James Earl Carter, 1977-1981: $7 Million Net Worth
40th Ronald Wilson Reagan, 1981-89: $13 Million
41st George Herbert Walker Bush (1989-1993): $23 Million Net Worth42nd William Jefferson Clinton (1993- 2001): $38 Million Net Worth43rd George W. Bush (2001-2008): $20 Million Net Worth That brings us to an actual grand total of:  $130 Million.  (Not a huge difference, but they did round it down or use the 2001 figures instead of the 2010 figures, which were the last full accounting.
For how each of them made that money, as well as a complete history of the net worth of all presidents to date, please go to:  http://www.businessinsider.com/the-net-worth-of-the-american-presidents-from-washington-to-obama-2010-5?op=1
Now, note a couple of interesting things: (1) Bill Clinton had the highest net worth out of all previous presidents.  Add that to his wife’s net worth: $34.9 million  (As it turns out that they file separately since she got her current job), and you get  72 Million just for the two of them.
(2) Next, we have the fact that right now, unless you lefties are conceding the election to Romney, his wealth is more rightly compared to presidential candidates that ran against incumbents, rather than to past presidents. So, let’s go there a moment.  We will use just 5, to make it like the above example.
John Edwards: $45 Million.
John Huntsman $70 Million
Hillary Clinton $72 Million (Since she and Bill were still happily cohabitating then.)
Al Gore: $100 Million
John Kerry $240 Million.
Just these 5 examples give us a grand total of: $527 Million.  And, note one interesting thing…all but one of those was a Democrat.  Now, we could talk about Giuliani, Perot, and a couple of others, but let’s face it, they were never really serious contenders and the whole point of the original piece is to point out the money of the “evil republican,” so I thought a little tit-for-tat was in order.
There was not one peep out of the oh, so righteous left about how evil Capitalism and money are, or how greedy you have to be to have all that filthy money, when it was a guy that they wanted as president.  The fact is that if you really want to get into HOW each of them got their fortunes, we would have to get into the value of education, work, ethics, and wise investment.  But that isn’t what Obama and his catamites want us to focus on.  No, Prince John and Eric, Sherriff of Nottingham want you to focus on that evil, white, religious guy, and his plans to stop them from taxing us peasants to death and redistributing it to their cronies.
Added: And I didn’t even hit you with Steve Forbes and all of his offshore investments.  Google it yourself.

Being wealthy and having success is officially hated in America now.  Get used to it.  We’ve gone full circle and actually prefer more poverty and lower class citizens that don’t give a shit about improvements.

Hate to be the bearer of truth.  Watch 100 liberals come in here and nod their heads agreeing with that.
